Many people inside photo manipulation community asks me how I work with statues.
There are MANY ways I can work with them depending on the features, textures and colors of each one.
THIS IS NOT A FULL TUTORIAL, just a quick and short step-by-step to people who is familiar with Photoshop on how I did this specific work.
I'm not expert in photomanipulation and even less in drawings and paintings,
I DO WHAT I KNOW TO DO, THE WAY I KNOW TO DO,
ALWAYS TRYING TO LEARN NEW WAYS AND TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE MY LIMITED SKILLS.
Anyway, a bit ashamed of my limited English, I decided to share with all of you this quick sbs.
When my psd's starts to get bigger and bigger, I flattening some layers, I know this is not the right way to proceed (but also, not exactly wrong!!), and this action eventually makes me lose material that could be useful to me and others. My first idea was to have done a sbs of this work here: To The Promised Land,  whose statue is in black stone, which I find a bit more challenging to work with. But when I checked the psd, I discovered I had flattened the process. No, I disagree!
Leave it to next time ...
Thank you for your attention and if you already know how to work in PS I hope you can find these tips useful.
